" HOLOGRAPHY EXPO-2008 " (HOLOEXPO-2008)
Invites you to take part in Conference which will take place on
July, 1-2, 2008, St.Petersburg, Russia,
at International Business Center “NEPTUN”.
The goal of the Conference is to estimate and determine the strategic directions of Holography market development in Russia and abroad. The Conference will consist of the specialized exhibition and scientific - practical conference “Holography in Russia and abroad. Science and practice”.
Anniversary 5-th Conference will pass for the first time during the White nights in St.Petersburg on the territory of IBC "Neptune", located in immediate proximity from historical city centre.

Within the framework of the specialized exhibition “Holography EXPO-2008” the following thematic sections will be presented:
• Security holography and its application;
• Holographic optics, 3D holographic display systems, optical memory;
• Art holography, holographic packaging;
• The equipment, technological processes and materials for holography.
The program of scientific - practical conference “Holography in Russia and abroad. The science and practice” includes the following sections:
1. Security holography:
- holographic production marketing for protection against counterfeiting and falsifications of documents and goods;
- scientific and technical engineering in area of analog and digital technologies of security holograms recording;
- optical-electronic devices and hidden images reading devices, security holograms coding images reading and its applications for security papers and bank technologies; - security holograms identification;
- low aspects of security holograms application.
2. Art holography and its application, including photographic materials, photo resistors, photopolymers and other registering environments for holography.
3. Computer and optical-electronic technologies in hologram optics synthesis, hologram and diffraction optical elements (HOE-DOE) and its application in science and engineering.
4. Three-dimensional objects imaging with the holograms application and 3D holographic displays.
5. Optical-holographic memory systems, optical information processing and holographic filters, waveconducting holography and its application.
6. Holographic and speckle interferometry and its applications.
7. Holographic packaging and its application.
8. The industrial equipment, technological processes and materials for holograms recording.
To take part:
1. To take part in conference with report you should send us 1 page report abstract in English (font 12 Times new roman or Arial, format MS Word2000, files *doc or *rtf) before 11 April 2008 on E-mail: odinokov@rl2.bmstu.ru.
2. The conference fee for participants who make a report is 250 dollars USA (for 2 participants of the conference - 10 % discount; for 3 participants of the conference - 20% discount). In case of presentation at conference co-participants the conference fee is equal to the payments from participants of conference without the report.
3. The conference fee for participants who will not make a report is 500 dollars USA for one person (for 2 participants of the conference - 10% discount; for 3 participants of the conference - 20% discount). It includes conference materials and conference reports, coffee break, lunch.
4. The application form for participation at the conference can be found at the site www.holograms.ru and www.holograte.com.
Official languages of the Conference and Conference are Russian and English. The synchronous translation from Russian into English and from English into Russian will be provided.
The conference Program (in process of reports receiving) will be published at the official website www.holograms.ru and www.holograte.com presented in May 2008.
The banquet will take place on the 1st July during boat water excursions at the area of Neva River, at which participants can see in immediate proximity magnificent musical fountains. Cost of participation will be declared at registration.
In addition for interested persons on July, 3rd is offered bus excursion to Pushkin city with visiting Ekaterina palace and the Amber room. Cost of excursion - 1900 rbl.
The Organizing committee of Conference can help you with the following:
1. Room reservation under the special prices at the hotel Neptune (St.Petersburg, Obvodnoy canal nab., 93A);
2. Registration of visas and invitations for entrance to Russia.
